Welcome to STXHam – South Texas Amateur Radio
STXHam is the amateur radio division of STXRadio, dedicated to serving and connecting the Ham Radio community across South Texas. Whether you’re a newly licensed Technician, a seasoned Extra Class operator, or simply interested in learning more about amateur radio, STXHam provides a place to connect, learn, and share experiences.
Our goal is to bring together operators from San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Victoria, Laredo, the Rio Grande Valley, and communities throughout South Texas. STXHam serves as a central resource for local repeaters, radio nets, emergency communications, public service events, technical discussions, operating activities, and amateur radio education.
Through STXHam, members can discover local clubs and events, learn about new technologies, participate in on-air activities, and stay informed about what’s happening throughout the South Texas amateur radio community. From HF and VHF/UHF operations to digital modes, satellites, APRS, POTA, SOTA, and emergency communications, STXHam welcomes every aspect of the hobby.
Amateur radio is more than just talking on the radio—it’s about building friendships, developing technical skills, serving our communities, and maintaining reliable communications when they matter most.
Join STXHam and help us continue connecting the South Texas Ham Radio community, one contact at a time.
